‘TraffiCop’ is a unique and innovative ‘m-governance’ initiative of Omni Bridge Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ‘TraffiCop’ has been implemented by Maharashtra state traffic police Traffic branch on 4500 mobiles and is in operation Since Jan 2019 & has shown constructive results. It is also proposed to be implemented in multiple states in India. Trafficop is right solution to inculcate better Traffic discipline in other neighboring countries as well. Prior to State implementation, Trafficop was implemented in Mumbai, Pune and Nasik for about 2 years.

‘TraffiCop’ since its implementation has accomplished the following credentials:

  • Awarded the National ISBA award 2010 by Ministry of Science and technology, Gov. of India
  • Selected as one of the best m-governance practices in India by central Gov. http://indiagovernance.gov.in/
  • Certified for security compliance (“Cert-In”)
  • Integrated with Vahan and Sarathi system of Government of India.

Trafficop will Contribute to increasing road safety for the traffic, the app has shortened the response time to look back at the vehicle's history, past offences. Helping all to obey traffic rules which in turn targets to bring down accidents

Trafficop Solution is simple, easy to use and efficient. Trafficop Solution uses a special mobile called MPOS (Mobile-Point-of-sale) device and a small portable thermal printer with Bluetooth connectivity. Mobile handset is secured with MDM system. With appropriate credentials, the Traffic department officer can access the server database and enter the violation details and issue Challan. Main features are :

  • Traffic officer : geofencing and performance tracking.
  • Auto sync for Offline records.
  • OCR to read vehicle number / DL number.
  • Integration with Vahan and Sarathi for Vehicle or DL details.
  • Violation history with evidences and geotagging.
  • Unpaid challan information.
  • Various alerts on vehicle number / DL numbers.
